All built within the SDL Tridion CMS, integrated with third party systems and booking engines. Email marketing, campaigns sites and mobile sites also form part of the deliverables. The portfolio of sites has won 13 Middle East and International Awards across various categories including: best home page design, best overall website design, best mobile site and many more.
Abu Dhabi Airports is a public joint-stock company, wholly owned by the Abu Dhabi Government. Created in 2006 to spearhead the redevelopment of the Emirate’s aviation infrastructure, Abu Dhabi Airports plays an important role in the Government of Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030.

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) boasts one of the biggest duty free stores in the world. Thus, they wanted to take their offerings online to further increase their shops reach by offering eCommerce capabilities to different concessionaires such as DFS, Sharaf DG and many alike. The scope of the challenge came through the need to allow each concessionaire full control over their category structure, product structure and orders while still leaving all the end user management control to ADAC.
Revonic was able to produce a highly complex online store solution that utilized Umbraco CMS and the uCommerce platform.
The resulting website that was created by Revonic has officially become one of the biggest global uCommerce website in the world since it’s inception.

Through our lengthy relationship ADAC has always been impressed by our ability to deliver on our promises with the utmost quality and professionalism. The challenge was huge but we delivered a modern responsive website that allows ADAC’s concessionaire’s to have full control of their online presence through the Duty Free website. This includes the ability to add products, manage inventory and process their orders without being linked or affecting any of the other concessionaires present on the eCommerce website.
The website also features unique features to streamline the fulfilment process while also improving the overall user experience. These features include integration with the flight information system to allow the user to easily select their flight during the checkout process as well as integration with customs restriction system that alerts users about prohibited items in their shopping basket according to their destination.
