UNB chose Revonic to transform their digital presence within the region and place them as one of the leading authorities in the financial market in the Middle East. Although initially chosen to take care of the website usability we were handed over all development as Revonic’ long history with successful SDL Tridion launches was required for a website of such magnitude.
Union National Bank is the only bank that is jointly owned by the Governments of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Established as a joint-stock company in 1982 UNB is one of the leading domestic banks in the United Arab Emirates with their headquarters located in Abu Dhabi.
UNBs’ website is fully multilingual and provides over 200 unique pages for the user in each language.
The goal UNB have for their website isn't just to get pageviews. It's a platform they can use to generate business, reduce costs and serve customers better - we had to be sure the end result was going to be intuitive for users.
Revonic always believe the best way to be sure your experience works is to test it with real users. We worked with UNB to recruit (and incentivise) suitable users we could test the designs with and put together tasks that tested a mixture of customer and business-orientated scenarios.
The users were recorded whilst performing tasks and each user's session was analysed by our UX team. Any hesitations or errors from the user were then used to make the design more intuitive.
UNB are now perfectly positioned to provide the best digital customer experiences thanks to the new platform Revonic has delivered.
