Yas Marina Circuit, one of the world’s most advanced Grand Prix venues, chose Revonic as their full service digital partner to deliver all the digital services across their business. Revonic launched the desktop site in English and Arabic, as well as the dedicated Mobile site. Revonic and Yas continue to work on multiple strategic digital initiatives and Revonic works closely with various internal teams to provide assistance across technology suites, including Website Hosting, Email Marketing, CRM and POS systems.
Yas Marina Circuit has a complex and diverse business offering including: Formula 1, Motorsports, Karting, Community & Fitness Events as well as The Yas Events Centre. The key objective for Yas Marina Circuit was to align all these business channels (with their unique requirements) and ensure that the new website could relate and be relevant to each of their target audiences.
Yas Marina Circuit had very aggressive timelines to achieve their objectives. Taking the expectations and the diverse content needs into consideration, we proposed a phased approach to the project, where we delivered the English Desktop site first, Arabic Desktop site second and finally Mobile English and Arabic sites together.
Throughout the project, we tested the solution against business operations and identified the best technology available to meet the requirements. This allowed us to align with business expectations of a modern, smart and integrated solution.
Apart from the operational and functional requirements, it was critical for Yas Marina Circuit to be able to quickly and easily update content across both the desktop and Mobile sites, especially in the run up to and during the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
An interactive app for the sales force to engage prospect corporate clients by showcasing various F1 corporate packages and products, using an interactive circuit map and product wizards.
A microsite built as a hub for User Generated Content to build excitement around the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The secondary purpose of the website was to build excitement around the International Artists reveal and to drive users to purchase F1 tickets.
